Get Fit for Life was founded by Barry M. Stein, a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with more than thirty years of experience in corporate, commercial and medical fitness settings.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Stein has performed in high visibility and senior leadership roles contributing in areas of new product development, health risk factor analysis and clinical patient care.  Dr. Stein is a subject matter expert in the area of fitness assessment, weight management and wellness programming; has evaluated Olympic athletes and military personnel and assisted the City University of New York (CUNY) with the design for their exercise science/personal training curriculum. Among his accomplishments, Dr. Stein created the True Age Test.

As a member of the clinical weight management team at The Center for Weight Management - Department of Medicine - for the North-Shore Long Island Jewish Health System, Dr. Stein helped to create the Activity Works music video program as part of their pediatric obesity initiative to combat childhood obesity.
