I'm having a lot of trouble hearing all the teacher bashing thats going on in the educational reform debate. If you demonize the profession as a whole, you will demoralize the good teachers who struggle each day to provide their best effort on behalf of the children.

It puzzles me that Gov, Walker in Wisconsin looks to balance his budget on the backs of the teachers union. If he had it his way, teachers would only make 'minimum wage,' while he gives hugh tax benefits to corporations and the rich. Let this serve as a signal to all 'middle class' Republicans that - they may be next. You get what you vote for - so think carefully the next time you go to the polls.

Thanks to this type of thinking on the part of Republican lawmakers the middle class may go the way of the dinosaurs.
