Hey Brad, I'm also out of work for nearly one year. The book is what it says it is, a guide to help you get back to basics. No talk about supplements, the newest fad, just sensible advice we should follow. I've been doing the resistance training program at home three times each week and I'm starting to see results.

People told me I had no sense of humor until I read, The Book. Now I can tell a joke and occasionally get a laugh. This is the first book I ever read that gave me a step-by-step on how to tell a joke. That's pretty funny right there.

The Book is not the best book I've ever read, but it did give some good advice. I've been battling a weight problem all my life - and The Book did give me some direction. Maybe I'll try the weight program along with my walking.

I read your book "Getting Back to BASICS" and particularly liked Part 5: Manage Stress to Stay Healthy. There were a lot of good techniques to help me deal with stress. I've been out of work for over a year and the stress is almost unbearable. The part about keeping your sense of humor also reminded me that humor is good medicine. No matter how down I feel, laughing makes me feel a little better. The book is good, Thanks.
